The Financial Services Commission announced that it would designate 2026year 7month 9day, 7specialized securities firms for small and medium-sized enterprises and establish a dedicated fund of 500. On the same day, NH Investment & Securities acquired a 32% stake in a local Indian securities firm, while one securities firm set SK hynix’s target price at 185ten thousand won.
The Financial Services Commission announced that it would designate 2026year 7month 9day, 7specialized securities firms for small and medium-sized enterprises and establish a dedicated fund of 500. It said the measure was intended to strengthen the financial support system for small and medium-sized enterprises.
The designated 7firms will retain that status for 3years. During the status-retention period, relevant support and supervisory standards will apply.
NH Investment & Securities disclosed on the same day that it had acquired a 32% stake in a local Indian securities firm. It said the acquisition would expand its overseas business base.
A domestic securities firm 2026year 7month 9day, set SK Hynix’s price target at 185ten thousand won. It disclosed that this target price was set below the current share price.
The Financial Services Commission said that in-house loans could affect the housing market and raised the need to expand companies’ self-regulation. It said it plans to strengthen related regulations and supervision.
It said that the research and development achievements of small and medium-sized enterprises can enter the public market once they are designated as “innovative products.” The designation of innovative products is linked to preferential treatment in public procurement.
The establishment of a dedicated fund, 3years of eligibility guarantees for designated companies, overseas equity acquisitions, and target-price resets were among several disclosures and announcements issued on the same day. Investors were advised to check the details of each disclosure.
