Revenue from Intel's Data Center and AI segment increased 22% year over year to 51billion dollars. The company described the segment as a growth driver. It said the revenue increase reflected changes in market demand and product mix.

Operating margin was 31% of revenue. The company announced that its operating margin had doubled year over year. A change in sales mix was cited as a factor behind the improvement in profitability.

Meanwhile, the share-price multiple relative to forward earnings is above 100 times. Some observers have noted that this valuation is high. The company said that losses in its foundry business and execution risks remain.

The company disclosed its foundry losses and facility investment challenges, among other matters. Regarding execution risks, it said that issues requiring improvement remain. From an investor perspective, improvements in sales and earnings have been confirmed, but risks in individual businesses continue to exist.
