The seminar was held at the Financial Investment Education Institute. About 11people, including pension managers from 40branches nationwide and employees interested in pension-related work, attended.
The event was conducted in two sessions. In the first session, Lee Seon-yeop, CEO of AFW Partners, presented his outlook for the stock market in the second half of the year and investment strategies.
At the seminar, the flow of retirement pension funds shifting from principal-guaranteed products to performance-linked products such as ETFs was discussed. It also covered the need for practical responses in pension consulting amid a market environment with heightened volatility.
iM Securities said the seminar was part of its efforts to train pension specialists. The company said it would strengthen retirement pension customer consulting capabilities through field-based training and practical support centered on sales operations.
Pension managers and employees who attended the event were reported to have participated mainly in discussions on on-site consulting cases and changes to investment products. iM Securities added that it is accelerating the development of pension specialists.
