On the same day, KakaoBank disclosed that among suspicious messages in submissions to its AI-based smishing text verification service, 33% impersonated notices about financial transactions.
Hana Financial announced that, together with Gyeonggi Province, it would hold the 'JOB Matching Festa' at Suwon Messe to support reemployment for middle-aged and older people and create local jobs. The event was held under the name 'Gyeonggi Province 7 job fair'8 and 5070.
Hana Financial said it would operate various support programs through the event to help middle-aged and older people find reemployment. It said the details of the programs and the list of participating companies would be disclosed in accordance with the event presentation materials.
On the same day, the Neighborhood Life Accommodation Festa was held in Dong-gu, Gwangju. It was introduced as a local accommodation-related event.
KakaoBank 7month 8day, disclosed the results of its AI-based “Smishing Message Verification” service. It said that among the received text messages suspected of being smishing, 33% were classified as impersonating financial transaction guidance.
KakaoBank explained that the statistics were based on an analysis of cases submitted through the service. Additional cases and detailed classifications can be found in materials released by the company.
