Korea Investment & Securities 2026 year 5 month 18 disclosed the investment trends of users of its stock-accumulation service, a regular-investment service.
According to the disclosure, users invested heavily in large domestic semiconductor stocks among individual stocks. For exchange-traded funds (ETFs), products tracking U.S. indices emerged as a leading choice.
SK hynix and Samsung Electronics were among the stocks selected. The two companies are leading large-cap semiconductor stocks on the domestic stock market. Korea Investment & Securities said users concentrated their investments in these stocks.
In the ETF segment, U.S. index products stood out as a popular choice. ETFs bundle multiple assets into a product that can be bought and sold like a single security. The latest disclosure showed a split in trends: Korean semiconductor stocks among individual securities, and U.S. indices among bundled products.
Stock Accumulation is a regular-investment service that lets users buy in installments with set amounts, rather than investing a large sum all at once. Users can steadily build positions in stocks or ETFs through the service. Korea Investment & Securities explained which assets were most frequently selected through it.
