Alain proposes a merger to JB Financial and BNK Financial

JB Financial Group and BNK Financial Group stated that there had been no prior consultation regarding this proposal. Both holding companies have not yet announced any separate internal review or official position.
Activist-related movements were also announced. APlus Asset disclosed a plan to acquire self-owned stock worth 70 million won and stated that it would burn all acquired treasury shares.
Worldex also revealed its own stock buyback plans the previous day. Reports included that Worldex has been subjected to some shareholder activism related to Align.
In a separate report, Shinhan Investment Corp announced that it would manage a mobility fund worth 500 million won with an investment in Hyundai Commercial, as disclosed in 2026-07-14.
