The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport designated the area planned for a semiconductor cluster, including areas near the Gwangju military airport site, as a land transaction permission zone. The designation period is 2years, and it takes effect from 2026year 7month 14day.
Housing prices in the Suwon Yeongtong area rose 1.19% in a week under the influence of the semiconductor belt. Reports said that during the same period, the increases also widened in Giheung and Guri, which are regulated areas.
