SK hynix lists ADRs on Nasdaq…Choi Tae-won personally rings the bell

SK hynix listed American depositary receipts (ADRs) on Nasdaq in the United States on 2026 year 7 month 10 day. The listing time was 10 day at 10 o'clock in Korean time, and 9 o'clock in the morning local U.S. time.
The company said the funds secured through the listing amounted to 37 trillion won. The business community valued the funds secured at 40 trillion won.
During the listing process, new shares equivalent to approximately 2.5% of the total shares issued, up to 1,779 ten thousand shares (1 hundred million 7,790 ten thousand shares based on ADRs), were issued.
SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won attended the listing ceremony and personally conducted the bell-ringing ceremony. Key executives, including President Kwak No-jeong, also accompanied him at the event.
The company said it plans to use the funds raised to expand semiconductor facilities and purchase high-end equipment. Investments related to the Yongin Semiconductor Cluster are also included in the plan.
At the group level, it is reported to have presented plans to expand AI-related business opportunities locally in the United States and establish a global AI company (control tower) in the United States.
Following the Nasdaq listing, future Nasdaq100 inclusion, an influx of local U.S. investors, and a revaluation of the company's value are among the changes being discussed.
