Public-sector spending in the first half: 416 trillion6,000 hundred million won, exceeding the target by 20 trillion8,000 hundred million won
The Ministry of Planning and Budget announced that it had executed 6 trillion 30 hundred million won in the public sector budget as of 416 trillion6,000 hundred million won, exceeding the first-half expedited-execution target by 20 trillion8,000 hundred million won. For the supplementary budget, it executed 10 trillion5,000 hundred million won out of the management-target amount of 9 trillion2,000 hundred million won (87.4%).
The government announced that public-sector expedited-execution performance as of 6 trillion 30 totaled 416 trillion6,000 hundred million won based on the original budget. This figure was 395 trillion8,000 hundred million won 20 trillion8,000 hundred million won above the first-half target.

Regarding the supplementary budget, the expedited-execution management target amounted to 10 trillion5,000 hundred million won, of which 9 trillion2,000 hundred million won was executed, recording an execution rate of 87.4%.
Projects designated for priority management executed 24trillion won and 9,000hundred million won in the first half. The execution rate was 72.3%, exceeding the initial target of 24trillion won and 1,000hundred million won.
Among the support cases related to people's livelihoods, 9,481hundred million won was executed to support the issuance of regional love gift certificates, and 5,790hundred million won was executed for small business management-stability vouchers.
In the area of easing the burden of high oil prices, 5trillion won and 1,897hundred million won were injected, resulting in an execution rate of 97.2%. In the area of livelihood stability, 1trillion won and 6,706hundred million won were executed, while 2trillion won and 3,260hundred million won were executed in the areas of minimizing industrial damage and stabilizing supply chains.
