Foreign investors 87 trillion won in net sales, despite 39.43% rise

Foreign investors have made net sales of 87 trillion 9382 hundred million won on the KOSPI since the start of this year. This figure is the year-to-date cumulative amount tallied by the Korea Exchange. The tally reflects cumulative trading flows from the start of the year.

According to Korea Exchange data, foreign investors' holdings ratio on the KOSPI was 1 in 2 at 36.65%. The holdings ratio refers to the share of the market held by foreign investors. Comparisons across time periods were made on the same basis.

As of the previous day, the holdings ratio stood at 39.43%. This is the highest level in 20 years. The holdings ratio changes depending on price movements in major stocks.

In the latest 9trading days, selling accounted for 45.8% of cumulative net sales. This figure was calculated on a cumulative basis from the start of the year. The concentration of selling shows that a large amount of money moved over a short period.
