Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ share price since taking office 1,009.27% surge… AI components revalued

Since last year, when President Lee Jae-myung took office, 6 month 4 to 22, Samsung Electro-Mechanics’ share price surged 1,009.27%. This was the largest gain on the KOSPI. The figures were released based on data compiled by the Korea Exchange.

Samsung Electro-Mechanics preferred shares 720.98% rose. Samsung Electronics 414.96% rose. Both preferred and common shares posted sharp gains.

The market interprets this rally as a revaluation of companies that make key components for AI infrastructure. In fact, most of the top-performing stocks belong to the component value chain, including substrates, packaging and multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs). A notable feature is that investor funds have shifted toward bottleneck components rather than finished products.
