LH's new president orders Seoripul groundbreaking 1years earlier, starting in 2028. First-year directive
LH President Lee Seong-hun visited the Seoripul public housing district as his first site visit after taking office and ordered groundbreaking to be brought forward by 1or more years and to begin in 2028. As his first field visit after taking office, LH President Lee Seong-hun visited the Seoripul public housing district and ordered groundbreaking to be brought forward from the announced schedule by 1or more years and to begin in 2028.
Seoripul is a large-scale public housing district in the Seoul area planned to supply up to 2ten-thousand homes.
LH inspected the 1district and the 2district in sequence to check the progress of the projects.

LH said that within this month, 1it will apply for the district plan and, after obtaining approval in the first half of next year, pursue compensation procedures in the second half.
LH explained that, as residents’ opposition and requests for preservation continue, it will operate a consultative body to communicate with residents and continue discussions on compensation and relocation issues.
LH said it would make Seoripul a new public housing implementation model by expanding youth public housing mainly around station areas and introducing medium-sized units for newlywed couples and households with newborns.
President Lee then visited the construction site of the Newlywed Hope Town in Daebang-dong, Seoul, and conducted a special safety inspection in preparation for torrential rain and heat waves.
