Ministry of Industry and KOTRA to provide emergency support worth 50 hundred million won to troubled companies
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA are promoting an emergency support voucher 4round for small and midsize companies and mid-market firms that are struggling due to the strong won and export controls by major countries. The amount of support is 50 hundred million won, and KOTRA’s Korea-Japan AI exchange as well as regional events by construction firms and local governments were also held one after another during the same period.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency said on the 4th that they will promote an emergency support voucher 12round for small and midsize companies and mid-market firms that are facing difficulties due to the strong won and export controls of major countries. The amount of support is 50 hundred million won.
The government explained that this voucher is intended to help resolve export-related difficulties and reduce cost burdens. It plans to announce details such as eligibility, support items, and application procedures later.
KOTRA held a Korea-Japan AI company exchange event with Japanese partners at its headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, on 7 month 10 day. Executives from companies in both countries attended the event and discussed ways to cooperate.
