The company 6month 17day, ABL111 was included in the Fast Track program as a 1line treatment (a drug used in initial treatment), the company disclosed.
ABL111is a drug candidate intended to treat gastric cancer, and the designation was confirmed through a company announcement. The co-development partner is Novabridge.
The FDA's Fast Track designation is a program that increases opportunities for communication with clinical and regulatory officials during the drug development process and may provide preferential treatment in the review process. However, the designation itself does not mean that the drug has been approved.
Meanwhile, industry reports said that Epson’s “precision control” technology is attracting attention against the backdrop of the spread of AI and advanced manufacturing processes. Precision control is a technology that uses motors and sensors to adjust position and speed in very small increments.
These developments could each affect the biotechnology and manufacturing and equipment sectors. Additional company disclosures and clinical trial- and product-related schedules should be taken into account when making investment decisions.
