GS E&C, Gunpo Geumjeong4District and Yongin Suji4Phase contractors selected

GS E&C has been selected as the contractor for the redevelopment of Gunpo Geumjeong4District and the reconstruction of Yongin Suji Samsung4Phase. General meetings to select contractors for both projects were held on 30. With these selections, the company secured additional urban renewal project contracts.

Suji Samsung4Phase reconstruction is a project being carried out in Pungdeokcheon-dong, Suji-gu, Yongin, Gyeonggi Province. The project will provide 1,210units of multi-family housing. The construction cost is reported to be 5043billion won.

Geumjeong4District redevelopment is being carried out in Geumjeong-dong, Gunpo, Gyeonggi Province. The project is designed to comprise 900units of multi-family housing. The construction cost is 3382billion won.

On the same day, Geumjeong4District association voted at its general meeting in favor of 399 members, selecting GS E&C as the builder. Attendance was 426 people. Suji Samsung4 District association also held a general meeting and selected GS E&C as the builder.

Seongnam Sangdaewon2District association passed a motion at an extraordinary general meeting to terminate its construction contract with DL E&C and selected GS E&C as the new builder. The association had previously passed the same motion last month on 11, but DL E&C applied to the court for an injunction suspending its effect, and the application was granted. DL E&C said it would take legal action, arguing that the results of this general meeting were invalid.

At the same general meeting, a motion to renew confidence in association president Jeong also passed.
