Samsung C&T’s construction division has been finally selected as the contractor for the reconstruction of the Bangbae Sin Samho apartments in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. Samsung C&T announced this fact on 6.14This is a significant order for investors in the construction industry and housing supply.
The association passed a resolution at its general meeting on 6 to confirm Samsung C&T as the final contractor. Samsung C&T was previously selected as the preferred bidder in 13.1this year
The project site covers the area around 725 in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, and the site area is 44,106 square meters. The development is known to comprise 928 households.
The complex is planned from the basement 5 floors to above-ground 41 floors, with 7 buildings. A sky community is scheduled to be created on the highest floor.
Construction costs are 6,538 hundred million won. Samsung C&T proposed “Raemian Le Perium” as the new name for the complex.
The design proposal includes a central plaza of approximately 2,300 pyeong and spaces offering views of the Han River and Namsan Seoul Tower from the highest floor. The exterior is said to feature a design inspired by laurel wreaths and crowns.
The planned community facilities include fitness, a golf club, a swimming pool and 55 programs, while private communities for each building are also scheduled to be created. Samsung C&T said the floor structure would incorporate a patented-technology 1-grade design and a design reflecting seismic-resistance standards equivalent to the highest special grade.
The site is connected to the Gangnam area by Sapyeong-daero and Seocho-daero and is adjacent to school districts including Seorae Elementary School and Banpo Elementary School. The cooperative’s announcement also included a description of the surrounding location.
In a separate report, the Gyeongsangnam-do Office of Education announced that it would administer the written examination for local government officials in 6 month 20 day, with a competition ratio of 9.2 to 1.
